About me
Luke Anderson, Ed.S., BCBA, is the Executive Director of Prevention Supports and Services at the Placer County Office of Education. He leads efforts to build integrated systems of support that connect education, behavioral health, and community partners to improve student well-being, engagement, and access to learning. Luke coordinates the CA PBIS Leadership Team and supports a statewide network of regional technical assistance centers advancing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports across California. He also serves on the Placer County SMART Policy Team, where education, behavioral health, child welfare, juvenile justice, and community partners work together to strengthen the county’s System of Care. His work emphasizes implementation, continuous improvement, cross-agency collaboration, and the development of sustainable supports for students and families.Before joining PCOE, Luke worked as a school psychologist, behavior analyst, and special education teacher in the Sacramento region. He has also taught graduate courses in academic problem-solving and cognitive assessment.
