Dr. Kristina West Gordon is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Program at California Baptist University. She also serves as the Director of the Kaiser Permanente Mental Health Career Accelerator in Southern California, leading efforts to expand and strengthen the behavioral health workforce pipeline. Her research focuses on increasing diversity and well-being within the mental health workforce, expanding Certified Wellness Coach career pathways through student training opportunities, and integrating simulation technology into social work education to enhance student preparedness for professional practice. As an educator, Dr. Gordon is passionate about developing the next generation of social workers and creating inclusive learning environments that inspire students to make meaningful contributions to their communities.
