Student-Powered Wellness is a 60-minute, hands-on breakout that helps school staff engage students in leading peer-to-peer wellness activities.
Participants will: * Reflect on how students experience wellness at school. * Evaluate whether current activities are created for, with, or by students. * Explore why students may respond more positively to their peers. * Practice asking students what they need before creating a program. * Design a student-led activity focused on physical, mental, or community health. * Test the idea from a student’s perspective. * Practice inviting students to participate. * Create one action step to complete within seven days.
Participants leave with a realistic wellness idea that students can help shape, lead, and improve.
